John French attended the Brian Utting School of Massage in Washington State and graduated September 15th 1997. In 1999 he moved and obtained his Florida massage license where he started The Art of Massage. While building his business he taught several years at the Florida Acupuncture and Massage Institute instructing massage students in the theory and technique of several massage modalities. During the building of The Art of Massage John played a strong roll in Veterans receiving massage therapy. John started a program to help veterans with myofacial pain by bringing massage into their homes and later on establishing an office in the Gainesville VA Hospital. John is currently the secretary for the Suwanne Valley Chapter of the Florida State Massage Therapy Association. He continues to expand his knowledge of massage and the body with continuing education classes and self study. He is a practitioner of Ortho-Bionomy® and implements Cranio-Scaral, Kinesio Tape, and Deep Tissue techniques to name just a few into his treatments.
